Hello and sorry if this has already been asked. I am a Gold member and I would like to share my route with my friend in France so she can see the route I have decided to go on when visiting her. However, when she clicks on the link she says that she has to register or log in to view it. I thought that wasn't the case and that anyone can view my route without logging in. Can someone advise me on this please. Thanks

@Martin-Robinson You can share a route file like a .gpx file and someone with another brand of route planner can open it. Your friend will need some sort of route planning software to be able to visibly see your route. Your friend can open a basic MRA account for free and they will be able to see your route.
I hope this answers your question.

Hello @Nick-Carthew, thank you for the answer. Yes that does answer my question, I did misunderstand when I was watching the videos. I only want her to review it and give it the once over and she will never need to use a navigation device. Maybe I could export the route and then import it into Google Maps and send her that, would that be an option do you think? Thanks

@Martin-Robinson, your friend can start a free subscription. That will do everything you describe. Just make sure your route is identical on the OSM map, because that is the one she will use.

@Martin-Robinson you can open the route in google my maps, which is a different application than google maps.
