Collaborate on a route
-
I would like to collaborate with friends on one single route version.
Possibly not all users at the same time but maybe with a kind of checkin checkout.
Currently we only have the possibility to copy the route (with some detail loss) update it and vice-versa. This is not convenient at all. -

Currently we only have the possibility to copy the route (with some detail loss) update it and vice-versa. This is not convenient at all.You can create a group of friends and share the route there. Your friends will then have to get the route to their own library by clicking "+ use route". The route is then 1 to 1 without data loss.
Once they have edited their route, they can upload it back to the friend group with a version number in the name if necessary.That is the only way at the moment, but it may become possible in the future.

This is definitely one of our highest requests! Once we start with major website updates, this will be definitely added

As Philippe and Corjan said, collaboration on one route if often needed, so I wish to have this suggestion as a new feature coming very soon. Thanks to MRA Dev team

@Hans-van-de-Ven-MRA-Master Hi Hans,
The workaround you propose is what we are currently using but it requires a lot of manipulations and coordination and it rapidly becomes a mess.
I really hope this will become possible.
Thanks and enjoy your day -
I know this is an older post but I want to add one more user who is interested in this feature. We are currently planning a weeklong trip for June and not being able to collaborate on a route makes updating a challenge.
