Behavior of the Stop navigation button

    Just an idea

When I am driving a route and I am at my destination or I want to go to another destination I click on the "Stop navigation" button.

After this I have to compulsorily confirm my choice again within a certain time.
Unfortunately I am usually too late with this because my gloves do not always cooperate perfectly with the controls of my phone.

I would find it nicer and more logical if after pressing the button "Stop navigation"
A button appears with the text
"Stop navigation (10)" where the 10 is a count down counter

Where you can stop navigation immediately by clicking this button (this is still the way it works now)
But that if you don't click the button the navigation also stops automatically after 10 seconds. (So this is different than it is now)
If you accidentally click the Stop Navigation button, you can undo your choice by clicking somewhere else than the button.

This way the button always does what you choose with your 1st click but
You can still super quickly confirm your choice (stop navigation) or cancel your choice (continue navigation).
You only have to click 1x if you wait for the count down counter to reach 0 (so nicer if you have less responsive gloves)
Have more time for traffic so safer

Wonder what you guys think of this idea.
    😊

@PeterKerkhof Good idea! And I also want to suggest that the navigation will stop automatically when reaching the destination.

More than happy with the current set up too. A bigger confirm box would always be welcome though.

Give me one reason you want to stop the navigation during riding?
              Besides this it's unsafe too.
I usualy stop, take my gloves of and then push te 'stop navigation' button.
That always works fine for me.

@CD130 Thank you for your response
                😊
Aside from using the app on the bike, I also use it in a large 8 passenger bus in the city.0

I often can't find parking directly at my destination then have to search on busy one-way streets. The fact that the navigation in this situation does not stop automatically but continues to work is very nice.

In the situations when your destination is on the lane on the other side of the road, where you can only get there, by turning further down the road.

it is also nice that the navigation does not stop automatically.

The confirmation button could stay 2-4 sec longer anyway.

@PeterKerkhof I do very much like the countdown idea of those popups! 🙂 Might no be implemented like this for the stop navigation prompt but regardless showing the time left of confirming / cancelling is a great addition.
