MPH / imperial units

Although I've set 'imperial units' as my navigation preference in my profile, during navigation, distances to turnings / waypoints etc still display in metres.
Vehicle speed, speed limits and voice prompts do respect the imperial preference and display correctly.
Hi @Matt-Wetherill-0 My apologies, I should have mentioned that in my earlier reply. At the moment, metres are being shown instead of yards. This is something that will be addressed in a future update. Longer distances are shown in miles.

We currently do convert kilometers to miles but show meters and not yards. Something for a future update
In all honesty, I thought the UK used meters and yards was more of a US thing

@Corjan-Meijerink to be honest, weโre completely mixed up - SI units for measurements, weight, etc but miles for road distances and gallons for road fuel (although different gallons to the Americans).
Iโm actually completely comfortable with miles and metres for road distances (I think in meters for everything less than a mile ). Sadly most people would probably think that was a bit strange in a nav app!

Regardless of the definitive choice, we can agree that voice instructions and shown units should be aligned!
The MRA website doesn't use yards too
So getting that aligned too will be quite complicated. Not sure what the eventual implementation will be but this will get an update! -

I'm also happy with miles and metres but I suppose, for consistency it should all be imperial.
