Problem: Screen times out

I have just tested the app on two short A to B routes. Both times the screen timed out and the voice prompts stopped.
iPhone 11 Pro Max, iOS 16.1.2

I had the same problem today.
Besides, I was surprised when voice commands (in English) were pronounced with distances in my language (Polish). It's a strange feeling. -

Same problem here, I received a call, after that the screen goes off after time out (30 seconds in my case). Even when the call ends, the screen keeps times out. I've to end the route and start again a new route to have the screen on in a normal way.

Thanks for reporting! Voice instructions are indeed in an early stage and therefore not configurable.
When the app goes to the background (locked screen, other app open, etc.) navigation is paused and therefore voice instructions are killed too. The app must be open (for now obviously).
While actively using the app, the screen should not be locked. This can still happen when the OS deems this necessary (high temperature, low battery etc).
Changes to this will be made!
