Colour scheme - MRA Expert routes
-
In the library you can find a lot of nice routes made bij MRA Experts. Now I noticed that the most of them us colours to mark a petrol station, a restaurant or where there is a nice view.
Is there any fixed standard they use e.g. yellow for petrol station ?
I would be handy when making my own routes that I use the same setup so I do not get confused when ride a route of the experts

We use them in this way:
Blue = standard point for shaping your route
Yellow = nice point what you can see on your route but don’t stop.
Green = Nice point to take a picture or nice view
Red = stop for koffie, lunch, petrol or hotel
Pink = extra info for example ferry or warning for bad road surface -
There is a manual up on the RouteXperts website, that explains the colour scheme as well. It can be found on this page: https://routexperts.com/how-it-works/

Does the navigation app show the different coloured waypoints so you can identify them as you are riding?

Yes. And if the coloured route point contains information in the note, the information becomes visible if you touch the route point.

@Nick-Carthew This could be a game changer. I always found the navigation app a bit pants. You could put hours into planning the route with notes, but you could never see them on the navigation.

And of course the notes and any photos attached to the route points are visible when you save the route as a .pdf file. Print it out and put it in your tank bag.

@Nick-Carthew @Martin-Atkinson Waypoint colours are visible in the Mobile app too. In the next update, waypoint pause icon are included as well as extra waypoint metadata such as notes & images
