My preference for the XT, after much testing like yourself, is to use the Beta export but I only ever use shaping points and I use the Trip Planner exclusively. I actually put at least 1 shaping point on every road on the route. Yes it means extra work creating the route but for those times when I do go off route there are less chances for dodgy recalculations. I did use the Track Visible option for a while but I have found it pointless due to the amount of shaping points I add. For me Garmin Tracks have only one purpose. UK Green Lanes (Byways Open to All Traffic). I plot them on the OS Maps Software and Transfer directly to the XT. No more accidentally going down a Bridleway and enduring the wrath of the Walkers and Horse Riders.

Thanks Hans That's what I'll do But with this method, if I take a wrong way, I can't ask the GPS to bring me back on the right road... I think it's a pity that the VIA function doesn't correspond to the obligatory waypoints on the garmin, as in basecamp. Thanks again for your help Francois

Hello Rolf, The same thing happened to me but on my android phone. I uninstalled the app off my phone and then downloaded it again, I signed in and then everything displayed correctly! It might be worth a try. Cheers.

I see, track navigation is a completely different thing from route navigation. Ijust found OsmAnd and installed it on my iPhone. It seems perfectly happy loading gpx tracks and let you navigate them. I will test it the coming weeks. Maybe MRA will be able to do so in the future too!

@HaraldNL Nou is dit natuurlijk het MRA forum............ Maar in BaseCamp kun je wel tracks samenvoegen. Je hebt een Zumo. Dus ik neem aan ook BaseCamp op je computer. Vanuit BaseCamp kun je dan weer de samengevoegde track exporteren en vervolgens in MRA uploaden.

@Hans-van-de-Ven-MRA-Master Thanks. I figured that out. It's not a big deal to change them into announced waypoints once it's in the Garmin but it sure would be nice to have it done automatically. Still beats the hell out of creating a role in Basecamp️.

@Harald I recorded yesterday the track while driving with Navigation and the Mobile app, no problems. Do you use another GPS tracker device maybe?
