Simply create a waypoint where you want to place this favorite. Then left-click on this waypoint and a box will appear. [image: 1787981015141-screenshot-001.jpg] Next, click on the square with the three dots and the box will expand. Depending on the point, you’ll now see one of the two boxes: [image: 1787981059666-screenshot-002.jpg] [image: 1787981068558-screenshot-003.jpg] To add a favourite, click on the square with the star inside the box. A new box will appear where you can enter the name of this point. Once saved, it will appear in the list of favourites.

No. This has nothing to do with settings. It’s a behaviour pattern of Here. That’s where the data comes from!

You’re absolutely right. In most cases, I can see it because the point is already quite close to the road. But sometimes I do indeed have to zoom out first to find the correct position. In those cases, it would be easy.

@richtea999 said: As an option, not as default. Sometimes I want a waypoint to be off-road, because the map isn't accurate or the point isn't mapped. I can understand why it might have originally received a dismissive reply - it's quite tricky to describe, let alone code. Making decisions for inexperienced users is OK, but it might need to zoom in and offer options to the user: 'Which side of the dual carriageway did you want to snap to?' 'When you clicked vaguely near that main road, did you mean that tiny backroad 50m south of it?' 'You clicked on a body of water. I've randomly picked the north road because it's closer, even though it's not a main road. OK/Cancel?' But the pros: great for new users less discussion about routes going wrong on the forum! Others, such as Kurviger have implemented this feature. I would suggest that if you want the best off-road navigation experience you try DMD2. Why not set a default e.g. snap to road and then allow the user to set a flag to unsnap specific points and move them off the road when needed. Or a toggle, snap all points to road on/off etc. etc. I'd much rather there was a "sensible"*** default and then options to change the default as required. At the moment we just get a default and that's it. *** of course, we'll never be able to agree on what's sensible

I agree with a folder having totals included for each. When one is planning a tour is is interesting to know just how much one will have to do. May stop some over enthusiastic route planning.

I always want to start a ride with food in my belly and fuel in my tank. That’s why I begin my routes at a nearby gas station, and the finish is just a kilometer from my home. The strength of a good app also lies in the number of shared routes. That is why it would be a shame if your great routes weren't shared.

@Marinus-van-Deudekom Ja, gewoon met 2 knoppen om de 2 verschillende optie te tonen, ideaal tijdens het plannen van je route, de tijden tussen de "harde" punten [image: 1785945205938-505a7d7a-9f53-4e52-a0e0-1578207b7195-image.jpeg]

@Jörgen After reading my post again, I get what you mean. I mention re-arrange and 'section' of route, for me that felt clear when I wrote it. It was never about changing their physical location on the map, of course, when there is no street or path, it would be useless to place a marker there.

@Aggelos-Minoudis Where do you want to turn off “Avoid Highways”? In the app or in the web planner? Here's how it works in the app: Open a route. Tap “Navigate” (do not tap “Start”). Then tap “Avoidance Options,” where you can enable or disable various options. Once you've made your selection, tap “Start” to begin navigation. [image: 1785220029483-22327.png] [image: 1785220041495-22330.png] [image: 1785220052581-22331.png] In the Web Planner, follow these steps. Open your route Go to Options Go to Toolkit > Avoidances Check the box next to the avoidances of your choice [image: 1785220498739-22334.png] [image: 1785220507411-22335.png]

I can only assume the data is already accessible as it is displayed on screen while riding. How easily it could be turned into a Map Overlay might be something else.
