@RetiredWingMan, They have a Lite one too I see: https://therallytab.com/product/rally-tab-lite-adv/ But unless you want specifically their software pre-installed, I doubt it is a lot different from any generic rugged tablet.

@HighPeakRider MRA will probably never be able to compete with specialty apps such as Google Maps and Waze especially for A to B routing. It's strength lies in other areas.

Hallo Achim, am PC hast du immer die aktuelle Version mit Starten des Browsers. Wenn du eine App benutzt, muss du in den entsprechen App Stores gehen und da manuell ein Update abstoßen.

@Corjan-Meijerink Bij mij werkt het helaas niet met Duckduck foutmelding: "kan route niet berekenen" (in navigatie module) Bij offline kaarten: "kan de nieuwste kaartupdate-informatie niet ophalen ! er ging iets mis" Dus geprobeerd om met en zonder Duckduck op mijn Samsung S9+, ook met opnieuw opstart enz. Vorige motor vakanties Frankrijk Spanje werkte het nog wel hetzij met veel kuren, was altijd spannend of het weer lukte. HELP svp.

Yeah, we had a very few amount of users report this. What will always work is visiting myrouteapp.com on a browser rather than with the app. Not ideal but just sharing that info Given the low amount of users experiencing this issue and not many users using the browser in the app to upload, it isn't a major priority now.

@Peter-Schiefer Das liegt aber werder an der App noch am Smartphone, sondern der toll ausgebauten Infrastruktur in Deutschland. Ich hatte in zwei Wochen in Norwegen, vielleicht zwei/dreimal das Internet weg, was aber nach der nächsten Kurve wieder da war. Die Karten runterladen ist soweiso sinvoll für kurze aussetzen, die Route runterladen ist für den Start sinnvoll da wo man schlechten bis keinen Empfang hat.

@Drabslab, volgens mij bedoelen we ongeveer hetzelfde. Een tablet inderdaad, maar dan wel gewoon ingebouwd in het dashboard. Met een versterker er achter uiteraard, in plaats van een autoradio die (zoals bij mij) automatisch de FM zender laat horen als je start. Het probleem voor de toekomst wordt om een auto of motor te vinden die NIET verprutst is met electronische gimmicks die niet compatibel zijn met de IT industrie standaarden. Precies, en dat is vooral voor de tweedehandsmarkt een probleem. omdat industriestandaarden tegenwoordig maar een paar jaar duren...
