Thanks for reporting! Voice instructions are indeed in an early stage and therefore not configurable. When the app goes to the background (locked screen, other app open, etc.) navigation is paused and therefore voice instructions are killed too. The app must be open (for now obviously). While actively using the app, the screen should not be locked. This can still happen when the OS deems this necessary (high temperature, low battery etc). Changes to this will be made!

@Bouke-Ent @Nick-Carthew This is something developed in a later stage! For now the Navigation route is simply the fasted one. The alternatives shown (max total of 3) are variants of the fastest route, similar to Google Maps A-B routing. Generating alternative routes with HERE is quite complex with regards to curviness. That’s why segments also aren’t working yet on the website for HERE. On a sidenote, please try to respect the thread topic. Now it becomes harder to find this discussion

Bedankt voor de uitgebreide testresultaten. De rijbaan instructies is inderdaad een voorbeeld van een feature die we nog aan het finetunen zijn. Het kan zijn dat de aangegeven rijbanen al relevant zijn voor de wegen iets verderop. Die komen dan net niet overeen met de huidige maneuver maar slaan op de volgende. Ze worden al wel getoond omdat de opvolgende instructie snel genoeg de huidige opvolgen. Los daarvan, kan het inderdaad soms gebeuren dat alle banen als aanbevolen worden aangegeven terwijl dat duidelijk niet kan (zoals je ook hebt aangegeven). Gaan er mee aan de slag!

But when we are working and in "prevention/ alert mode", the people who call me to help them with a problem, need to know that I do not answered the call because I'm driving a motorcycle and not because I'm away from my mobile phone That's just why a feature like this is important to me

@Herko-ter-Horst I was a big time fanboy of the Tom Tom 550 for a long time, (Ivé still got it) but due to my ageing eyes I was seduced by the Garmin XT's big screen.

@Corjan-Meijerink Great improvement regarding debugging the app! Not only during the development but also for the future updates. Many of the issues previously reported on current MRA nav, were only reported through manually typing a ticket. A built-in log that provides you as a developer with all the "parameters of interest" is a great way to go!
