    Cheers,

just finished a 6300 km Tour through Italy, France and northern Spain.

Especially in France I noticed serveral warnings about beeing in a high risk area.

First problem: what would MRA want to tell me? Is this a dangerous road (obviously not, because most times that happened when I was riding good roads like expressways or sort of. Once happened in the middle of Avignon, too) or something else?

Second problem: one has to touch the notification, otherwise it will stay on screen.

Third problem: it´s not just one warning. Some time I received 5 in 5 minutes.

In my opinion, it´s also dangerous having to quit the notifications (repeatedly), because you have to take your look away from the road and also touch your display.

That was a really annoying experience.^^

    Regards from Austria,
    André

@Erdna you should not have to "touch" for the warning to quit, for me they normally fade away after a minute or 2
if you like you can turn them off in the Navigation settings > Screen Layout > Visual Alerts

      https://support.myrouteapp.com/en/support/solutions/articles/12000098531-app-navigation#Screen-layout

I find the warnings extremely useful & the exact opposite of being dangerous
what I find dangerous on the roads is people not knowing how to operate the machinery they are using

I think you will find, in France, that a "High risk area" is a legal way of informing you of speed cameras.

Exactly the same happens in TomTom it is a legal way of giving you a clue as to the proximity of speed camera's where it is illegal to say exactly where they are. The legality of speed camera alerts varies through the EU.

I have just returned from a few days in Germany, and I encountered the same issues as referred to in the opening post. The warnings (in France especially but also in the UK) came up and did not disappear after a short while, as they always used to.

Same happened to me with speed cameras. If I don't tap on the close button, it remains on the screen.
