Running the App on an iPad - Not loading app/crashes

Hi, I don't often do this, but when I'm on a tour I like to take the iPad to be able to do some route changes or even come up with new ideas. Obviously I can use the web based interface, but I'm sure the app used to work on my iPad as well.
When I fire up the app it just crashes. The app gets to an initial white screen like its trying load then just goes back to the iPad icons. The app is still loaded if use the app switcher, but just the same white screen then just goes back to icons if i select that.
Running the latest version of the app 4.4.1
IOS v15.8 so compatible according the the info App Store
Already tried a full manufacturer reset and restore.Any help appreciated.
