Compass symbol with north orientation

Hi, sometimes you are in an unknown area and want to use the map for orientation. During zoom in/out etc. you lost the directions.
Where the f... is north?

The compass symbol does not help. Where is north

Is it possible to change the symbol to see where north is?

@Jörgen for me the easiest way to find the north in this case would be to toggle the map view to "North Up" so the top of the map is the north
but yes I agree a little colour on the compass would be nice touch, especially for the dynamic & heading up map view modes

I don't have the numbers on top of the zoom +-. What is that elevation? And how do you turn it on. Thanks.

And no, no further zoom changes but it’s something I want to tackle

That is an Android App, called Maps Altimeter.
