I know I can silence / ignore a single discussion
Is there a way to silence / ignore a whole forum section / category?
I have no interest in Android Auto, it just seems to be a pain fest & would like to be able to ignore all the negativity associated with itIf such a feature does not exist would it be possible to enable such a feature?

I don’t think that’s possible. What I do with subjects that don’t interest me is simply don’t read them.
Yes and like you I’ve noticed that the subject AA gets a lot of attention. -

@Brian-McG, Yes that's possible
Just follow this ABC from your profile page:
Thanks for reminding me that I blocked some categories too...

@Con-Hennekens brilliant, thanks very much
For me Android Auto seems to have become a bit of a drag on MRA
On standard Android mobile it works really well, there are of course a few issues but with enough effort these could be easily addressed
Unfortunately to me the pace of change on regular MRA navigation has slowed hugely in the last year as it seems there is a lot of fire fighting with Android AutoPlus I wish the Android Auto cry babies would try & use basic android MRA moblie first & then post where they see the difference in operation rather than just saying AA does not work
Anyways thanks to your tip I can avoid the drama

It is not your nor my place to speculate on that, but that AA/CP consumes significant development resources cannot be denied I presume.

Let's not start a flame war and call people names. Although my position in this is quite like yours, I do see more and more integration of AA/CP in cars and motorcycles too. If you have it, you want to use it. Since my new car I have to capability of AA/CP in my car too. I use it A LOT, but in my car I don't drive scenic routes, so I tend to use gMaps for my navigation. That works absolutely fine. Therefore I believe AA/CP devices, for their lack of GUI options, are more designed towards simple A2B navigation. I don't think Google and Apple ever considered scenic navigation on their design at all.

Android Auto definitely has limited impact on our resources
Yes, we sometimes fix stuff but that is no different than maintenance on the core app / CarPlay.After a very consistent update interval it has indeed slowed down slightly. That's because we are preparing a major overhaul of the app and summer is a poor time to release updates as people then use the app most
