MRA Nav in a Campervan/Motorhome

Hi, I’ve been using MRA for my motorcycle planning and Nav for a couple of years now, I’m a big fan.

Recently we’ve purchased a Campervan and I noticed in MRA, that if you select “Motorhome” as the vehicle type, it gives you the option to enter the vehicle dimensions and weight.

Can anyone confirm, I assume when Navigating a route set for Motorhome as the vehicle type, the routing you are given takes into account the size and weight of the vehicle, avoiding low bridges, weight restrictions etc etc?

Do any of you use this? I’d love to hear some real world users comments on how good it is, whether it’s reliable etc etc?

I do have a trailer and used the motorhome vehicle type while navigation and found it very restrictive, means it sets the speed limit accordingly. So, I assume it will also take other restrictions and settings into account.

Yes it helps. Last year I drove 5.000km mainly in France and it guided me well. It helped me, not riding my roof off, under a lower bridge
