Scrolling Through Waypoints

Dear MRA team,
A video paints a thousand words.

I hope you're enjoying the sunshine and getting out your bikes regularly.
I've had to stop planning a 3,450 mile trip to request a feature change. I think with one of the recent updates when I try to scroll through the waypoints on my phone using the MRA extension it takes me to a waypoint. Nevermind how careful I am I can't scroll through the waypoints. Can you change it to how it previously was where clicking on a waypoint in the list would not take you to the map.
Cheers

I can't reproduce your issue on my iPhone 13. I can smoothly scroll through all the waypoints. I used a route with 180 waypoints and scrolled through them the way you described. It works perfectly for me. Have you also tried using the in-app planner directly? So without first going to the website and opening the route there?
Edit: On my S24 running Android, you do indeed have to be a bit more careful when scrolling! You're right about that. It does work, but pressing a bit too hard causes the app to open the waypoint you last touched while scrolling. Strange that I donโt have any issue with this at all on iOS.
On the other hand, when I use the in-app planner, I can scroll as much and as wildly as I wantโeven on Android! Would using the in-app planner be something for you to consider?

I have two very different Android phones, and both do not show this problem I see in your video. But indeed, like @Rob-Verhoeff says, why not use the in-app planner?

Hmm, there is no point in me confirming as well that my Android phone Samsung A35 does not show any of this sensitive behaviour, but I just wanted to address this cited sentence of yours.
It has always been the case, that "clicking" a waypoint from the list would direct you to the actual waypoint on the map, and successively activating the corresponding waypoint menu. That would imho be the only useful way in how this should work. Honestly, what did you expect?
Or did you perhaps chose your words in this sentence a bit ambiguously?

@Stefan-Hummelink previously when I went to the waypoint list I could click on a waypoint then close the menu and I'd see the pop up window for the selected waypoint.
Now it just kinda crashes and takes me back to the map as you see in the video. I'm pretty sure I'm using the in app planner. If I access MRA on Google it takes me to the app. Not sure what has changed
My phone is a Oneplus 12. -

@Rob-Verhoeff I have the problem on the navigation app when I go (route lab)
I have the same problem on accessing MRA route planner on GoogleAnd I have the problem on the plug in app that you access via the Web browser.
Never had this issue before.

Me too, but only on Androรฏd!

Try another browser?

The in-app-planner works as expacted for me.

This video was in the app via route lab tab at the bottom. Same problem

Hmmm, I definitely cannot recall this behaviour. Interesting. I remember it doing what it does "now". Yet, from what I understand it is not this jumping to the map in itself you're mostly troubled with, but rather the sensitivity of the touch interface. Not sure what to do about that other than to create a support ticket.

I only have this behaviour when I try to open a route in an external browser. Only then the browser redirects me to the app, I can click around in routelab without redirection to the app, but as soon as I'm trying to open a route, woops, there it goes.
What works for me in preventing the "takes me to the app" when opening a route, is to force "desktop mode" on the external browser, and then longpress a routename to "open it in a new tab". This opens the route in the external browser in a new tab (duhhh), and only by doing this, I can prevent the external browser to redirect me to the app. Hope this helps.
