I am just an enthusiastic MRA user, and hope you will be one too!

Sorry to say. But if disable "Autoskip Waypoints" make the app works as it should. Then there is something wrong. This sounds Zumo all over again (recalculation off setting).

Autoksip may only change the route after a waypoint is autoskipped. All waypoints to come needs to be untouched in the route.

Turning off auto skipping is not a good idea. Of you do you don't use the full possibilities of MRA.
If a upcoming waypoint is gonna be shipped that is caused by something on the route. Therefore multiple waypoints could be skipped to solve the problem. Turning off the auto functions is like driving with a flat tire. You can drive but I wouldn't recommend it

The discussion in this topic is why upcoming waypoint(s) are skipped without a clear sign for it (visual or on the map).
I've seen this happen more than once and made a ticket for it.

That feature is indeed explicitly asked for by Zumo users (who are afraid of change I presume). MRA does not need it, since it does not skip right to the end.

very strange way to make your point. i have auto skip off and i do it by hand. i never feel that i ride with flat tire. if i make a route i want to take that route, sometime a road it closed but i still can pass and sometimes not. that is adventure for me and not flat tire.

I recommend setting the automatic recalculation to Off, this is the only way to keep the real control over a curved route, in addition I decide to skip the WP = waypoint by double-clicking on the BT keyboard.

Especially when a route like a circular tour has a lot of jicks and turns and mountains 🏔️ are in between.

I want to have every setting on auto and expect the navi to stay on the original route a tight as possible. That the navi don't make any mistakes. The navi reroute me around closed routes without giving me a message.
That navi keeps looking forward when rerouting and not backwards. You have been there already. No need to get there anymore.

I just want be able to keep on riding without any stops or any pushing or scrolling on my screen. Just be able to follow the navi blind and enjoy the scenery and riding my bike. You need to be able to trust your navi 100%. The navi should care of you. Not the other way around.

These days that is what a navigation app needs the able to do. The only thing you need to be sure of, is riding in the right direction of the route. This is what no navigation app or device can fix for you.

Very tricky thing for a navi. But this can be solved in the software. The real GPS position is not that accurate as some believe to think. This is a problem on tight mountain roads with a lot switchbacks, etc. Especially when there also a lot of trees on the mountain.

From what i've seen. Some apps a really good at compensating this problem. Other apps less.
