Freeze after Fuel Stop

After a fuel stop on which I also the the phone to pay, and in combination with a carpuride. Carpuride had also been shut off due to power off of the bike.

The app was frozen, gps was not updated en app on carpuride and phone was unresponsive. I had to stop the app via android manager on my phone for 2 times to get i back to work.

@Edwin_M was the track recording on for your route ?
I am asking this because i drove a route with multiple stops also with Android Auto with no issues, but if I used track recording and made a short stop, after Android Auto booted up, nothing worked anymore, location was not updating anymore, and I had to kill the app on the phone.

@Edwin_M ik schat dat het een Carpuride ding is want ik doe hetzelfde maar dan met Android Auto in mijn auto en heb er eigenlijk nooit last van

@Marinus-van-Deudekom Can you do a test, driving a route with track recording ON and make a short stop turning off the car with Android Auto as well. After a minute or so, try starting the car and AA and resume the route ? Thanks !

I had the same issue. Again using a Carpuride. All was fine, made a fuel stop, powered off the bike, used the phone to make payment.

On restarting, the myrouteapp map location on the Carpuride was frozen on the map, whereas it was working correctly on the phone.

Terminating the app on the phone multiple times didn't produce a fix - the myrouteapp map location remained frozen on the Carpuride.

Auto tracking was off.

I also had only problems with freezing screens with my Carpuride. The app on the phone (or now with a tablet) stand alone was no problem.

What are the location permissions set to? “Always”?

@Corjan-Meijerink for me, yes, it is set to always. But it seems to freeze only if I use track recording, stop the car/bike so phone disconnects from Android Auto and when it connects back its frozen.

@Adrian-Avram, that could be useful info, however it contradicts @dbrooke experience... Maybe more AA/CP users can test if the fact that tracking is enabled has influence on the crashes.

Hi, just checked the settings and location permissions are set to always and double-checking the Auto-tracking setting, this is set to off.
