U turns when recalculating fastest route to next point
-
Hi MRA community,
Lately I have been using MRA more and more, but I seem to stumble into some behaviour which I don't know how to deal with (if it can be dealt with):
- I want to take a break of the track. I then divert from the original route. When I want to continue the route, MRA recalculates the fastest route to the next way/via point (I am not sure what points the roundtrip generator uses). This can sometimes also lead to U-turns, because on a crossing it leads me to the right, but halfway the road I meet the way/via-point and need to turn around and cross the crossing again...

Yes, automatic roundtrip generators can sometimes lead to U-turns. Also when not having a break. But typically, after a break and before you drive off again, you have a great opportunity to review the route and your location relative to it. Just long-press anywhere on the blue track line (roundtrips are tracks, hence no waypoints!) to rejoin your trip there.
