Exporting route as .gpx

I'm experiencing a problem when trying to share a .gpx file. A route has been created with no problem on a PC. The route shows in the app on my phone and looks fine. When I try, by pc or phone, to export as a .gpx as I have done many times before everything looks as if it worked but when trying to view the exported .gpx I get one line of text that says "<?xml version+"1.0" encoding+"UTF-8"?>

Any thoughts?

@Simon-Cox xml is the format used for gpx files and every xml file should start with such a line of text. It defines the version of the xml text language used.
The question probably is why the file does not contain more lines of text (?).

@Simon-Cox use the option on the web planner to save as. The Fox you select will then be expected to your downloads map om your pc

Hi Simon, did you get this issue resolved as I have now experienced the same issue.
I use a Mac and iPhone so it won't load the saved as gpx 1.1 file into Garmin XT therefore u unable to use the route in a Garmin.

I have used the same process for years and no problems at all and now suddenly I am getting this issue.

I have raised a support ticket as I believe it to be a fault.
