Route Calculation in Offline Mode
-
Hello everyone.
Am I missing something in my set up or does the App not calculate a route when in Offline Mode?
I have all the maps downloaded locally to my Android OS tablet. Tried calculating a route between 2 towns and the app said based on my installed maps it can't do it in Offline Mode that I needed to switch to online.
I keep the App and the Maps updated anytime it tells me there's a new update so I don't believe that is the issue.
Like a lot of you I ride a lot with no cell service and being able to get directions with no cell service is very important to me.

what kind off calc do you use. i can be wrong but only direct a to b works offline. also recalc only works on a route. all track options use online calculation.

@Bouke-Ent I just told it to find me the fastest route between the town I was in to the town I was going. Not a specific address.
For example I was in Wellington Ohio and wanted to go to Marshallville Ohio and just wanted the fastest route.
I could have gotten there without navigation if I needed to but I wanted to see the fastest route.

@Marinus-van-Deudekom I was at lunch and just told it to find me the fastest route from where I currently was to the town I wanted to go to.

@PatsAdventuresTravels, there should be no problem doing that offline, of all needed map regions are downloaded.

@Con-Hennekens They are all downloaded. The towns are only 45 minutes apart. I'll try again later and see what It does.
