Customisable POI Library?

It would be a benefit for route planning to have a customisable library of Points of Interest, (POI) of places to visit and then design a route around some of those points.
When working with Base Camp, I had a number of POIs on the country map, that I could choose from, ultimately designing a route around these POIs.
Perhaps a visible layer that POIs could be placed onto would be one suggestion. Hiding them when not required

you already can you can access it via a route or new route.
this is my POI for public loos in Ireland.......I'm a gentleman of a certain age
