Open routes to only specific Friends??

So I am in a bike club and organise quite a few routes and get fed up of making a route public or open to friends and all then have the fruits of my labours.
I do share but there are times when i only wish to share a route with one or two at a time. Is this possible in the app? I realise i can send in an email etc -

Only alternative is to create a group / event with those friends only!
