@M-Schrijver it is not about winning or losing
Just trying to get insight in how people use it and what makes more or less sense. -

@M-Schrijver I totally understand what you say.
So regarding MRA, the procedure is exactly the same with only one click difference. When opening the app again, as you do with TT, you can resume the navigation by clicking the big yellow button right there om your screen When doing so, navigation will start.
If you then connect CP/AA, the navigation will also pick up, exactly as in TT. If you didn’t start navigation from your phone, the prompt will be shown in CP/AA to resume.
I believe quite a lot are happy about this and I don’t really see the big issue.
That said, the issue where the prompt is shown excessively because there apparently was an issue and the app crashed / the route was ended is something that actually needs to be addressed.
Hello Corjan, I am absolute OK with the funcionality starting Navigation on my iPhone or by CP on Ford sync4 with wireless connection when you enter the car and MRA is visible as the last use App in CP.
The disturbing thing, I cannot find a real cause is that very often MRA start with no sound on my Carradio respective CP. The music from the phone in parrallel is on.
Meanwhile i found a solution working, open MRA App on the phone which is in a carholder at the dasboard (in most cases) close the actual navigation on MRA and restart, either on the phone or by the notice now on the CP screen. Then the sound is there.
I have up to now no test on my second car regar perhaps a similar failure. It is a MB SLC with CP and also wireless connection with a CarlinKit. Will see in August on a vacation with the cabrio. -

In my opnion the goal is to create a software package that is so easy to use that all peope ditch their Zumo or TomTom Rider and start using MRA Next.
I ditched my Zumo's already for Navigation "Previous" years ago. Never needed to look back.

May there is a chance to set the iPhone in flight mode, but then the GPS is also down.
I have said this before: flightmode does not shut the GPS down, and if it does on IOS, that's Apple's f*ck-up.

@Con-Hennekens
I have to correct myself, up to IOS 8 apple iPhones shut down GPS in flight mode. These were the time and years 2014/2015 were I was very often on business trips and try some tests in a plane.
Now I remember that later on with futher IOS 9 and 10 in the higher sky you saw a moving screen but no map, perhaps in over sea position. Sinking to about 4000 m and lower the map than was present with your position. Funny thing, below about 1000 m you receive speed warnings. -
@Peter-Schiefer, well then I have to correct myself too. I did not know this about old iPhones, but then again, I am no iphone guy Good that they corrected that, because it really makes no sense to shutdown GPS, since it does not send anything.
Imagine a speedcam ticket for flying by in a plane
