Hello;
I try to add an additional route to a main route only for display purposes.
I try the procedure described in using the "Add" button:
https://myrouteapp.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/12000098181-manual-display-and-merge-multiple-routes-When I add the additional route to be displayed mixed with the main route it appears correctly displayed.
But when I close the main route and reopen the main route the additional route is gone.
Am I doing something wrong?
Regards.

Hi Rob, that is not correct, if I add an additional route to an existing route and use the add e.g. at the end function, the new route waypoints will be seen at the waypoint list and will be available after a new opening. Otherwise, the ADD option would not make sense. -

So if you add a route, only to be displayed underneath the main route, it will get lost once you close the route. Even worse: it wil get lost even when you switch maps...

Hi All.
New user here, I read this thread with interest because it is close to an feature issue I have been pondering.
Can we add an alternate, or optional route to a main route? It seems like an obvious feature to have in a routing app.
Is this possible within MyRoute-app?
Thanks

What I do often, is adding waypoint information to a specific WP saying something like "If it is after 4 o'clock, better skip to WP 37 to save 45 minutes."

Hi Rob, that is not correct
I think you misunderstood the question from the original poster. Only for "display purposes" means that you project two (or more) routes on your screen. You can assign each route its own color. I think you are confused with merging multiple routes.

You may be right, question is not clear. The poster should explain it better.

@Peter-Schiefer
I am only referring to this question from the original poster: "I try to add an additional route to a main route only for display purposes."
And that question is simple to answer as I have done before. There's nothing mysterious about it. You can add as many routes to an existing route "only for displaying purposes" as you want. In other words, you will just see a map with an overview of the different routes on your screen. -

Rob, we have here two guys asking the nearly same question but perhaps with a different goal.
I am sorry, but those were two completely different questions.
I think they have both been answered correctly.
