Hi. can anyone tell me how I can get the Google map style drag and re-route option.
I am currently a basic member having to use the open street maps. When i place a waypoint i would like to then be able to 'tweak' the by dragging it and making it re-route along roads i want to go down, aka like google maps does.
Is this feature available if i use the google maps option?
I will need to upgrade to gold to get the maps but i wanted to make sure i could definitely do the drag and re-route thing before i paid the money.
    Thanks a lot 🙂

It works the same way for all 3 routing maps (openstreet, Tomtom and Here) - you can drag and drop the route placing new waypoint and the route will be reaclculated after you drop it. It doesn't work while you are moving the mouse but after release and confirm a new waypoint.

@Stanisław Hi, thanks for the quick reply. I have managed to do this but the resulting route (for me at least) just ends up being the quickest A-B route it can find.
When I use google maps you can click and hold and move the mouse around until the desired route is selected.
maybe i can try adding more intermediary waypoints to force it down the roads i want to be on but that way I would probably end up with 100's of waypoints along the route. Thanks

this is the best option, one waypoint on every road you wish to ride/drive on

to achieve, we must first attempt ✌️

@paul69 Exactly. There are two algorithms in Tomtom and Here routing - the fastest route and the shortest one. No one is perfect, I prefer to add a few waypoints more and be sure which route will be chosen.

@Stanisław & @paul69 . Thanks for info, its very much appreciated. just felt a bit odd having to put 10-20 waypoints for a section less than 50 miles long. cheers 🙂 🙂
