    Hey..

    any news on the problem?
    I live close the sea. Roundtrip generation seems impossible here.

    Same on my vacation; I'd like to do a roundtrip.
    It is worth to mention, that e.g. Kurviger or Calimoto actually do plan. See attachment.

    Of course I tried all of the possibilities, the planer offers.
    Nevertheless maybe I missed something?

    @No6671 With the direction selector, you will need to choose a different direction. A tour towards the sea (due west) will indeed never work. I live in the Netherlands on the coast and obviously have to plan something towards the east.

      my solution is also often kurviger. in my region NH in NL it is also difficult with MRA. both sides we have water and kurviger is been able to give better idea's then MRA.

        I tried with direction and with duration. You can try it by yourself.
        My vacation is south Italy. Tropea. I'd like to do a roundtrip. Since I don't know anything there, it doesn't matter, wich direction 🙂

        @Bouke-Ent
        I hoped to cancel my Calimoto premium account, since this app is ... well ... it routes often so much nonsense, I am sick of it.

          @No6671 I created a route from Cosenza using the website. Experiment a bit with the duration and/or distance and the direction of your route. I'm getting pretty good results from it.

            @No6671 what is wrong with planning a route yourself. Don't rely on automatic generated routes entirely. Use your imagination it gets you to beautifull places😎🏍️

              @Marinus-van-Deudekom @Peter-Schiefer I have often let MRA determine a route and then overlaid the Michelin map layer to project the beautiful green roads on it. I used the suggested route as a basis and built it out from there. I do indeed think it is a great tool.

                @Marinus-van-Deudekom
                Nothing at all. I plan a lot of routes. But the functionality is there and sometimes I just like to drive around without planing every step. - I suppose this is the idea behind.

                I think, the software makes a mistake there.

                Bildschirmfoto 2024-06-15 um 22.10.04.png

                Doesn't matter, what I try, I can't get a scenic round route.
                Kurviger does. Same start and everything else.
                The only difference I can see is the direction. Kurviger randomizes it, while in MRA one has to give a geographical direction.

                Bildschirmfoto 2024-06-15 um 22.10.24.png

                Because of the given direction in Kurviger, I - of course - tried South in MRA. Without success.

                Question:
                Is is possible, that the algorithmus in MRA uses the given distance as the crow flies?

                  @No6671 Well, it isn't impossible, but you've to experiment somehow:
