    I tested the new version v4.1.2 (302)

    Roundabouts are correct now.

Also Routing from current place to a target was ok.
Maybe re-calculation to the target was a bit late from my perspective but it worked. Afer some tries to turn around it calculated a new route to the target.

BUT: If you do not follow the route at the very end of the route and then try to aproach the target from the other side, MyRouteApp continues navigation and turns around to approach the target from the "right" side.
    This is a bit strange..

This is by design! Many users prefer to have the navi NOT stop. What if for any reason you cannot reach the destination directly, i.e. you cannot park directly in front of the destination. Then this option provides you with the possibility to be navigated back to your destination on foot. You still have to take your phone with you, so it is not very hard to press two buttons to stop the navi. 😄

Long story short: it is by design, and personally, I really like it. 😄

Not stopping the Navigation is not my point.
When I don't follow the Navigation exactly and so I approach the target from the other direction than the Navigation tried to approach first, than the Navigation leads me not directly to the target but passes the target and turns around in order to approach the target from the former direction.

This is absolute weird. This situation may occur when a shaping point you missed and was not autoskipped, is on the other side of the target and it shall still be passed. In this case nothing prohibits you from manually stopping the nav.

Edit: I looked more closely and this behaviour is indeed a bit weird since your figure does not show a missed waypoint, the nav should have seen that you've reached the destination

In the picture it looks like you already passed the target, and the app is providing a route with a safe turn-around. If it plotted this route already before reaching target, it might be caused by the WP not being on the road, but beside the road on the other side of the road. Just thinking aloud... 😉

I am just an enthusiastic MRA user, and hope you will be one too!

And this is exactly by design. The app will always route you back to your destination safely, independent of the direction you're coming from. If the user follows the navi instructions as given in the figure, he circles back to the destination and succesively passes it again, it will reroute to the destination through the junction he came through the first time haha. And this keeps going on forever untill users cancel the nav themselves. 😊

@Tom-Johann nice to hear that 302 fixes the roundabout issue. Still waiting for it to be released for Android.

In close to 20 years with Sat Nav I never came to such situation.

Okay, in that regard: what would be the problem with having the navi NOT autostopped which you seem in favor of? Haha. As I said, removing the phone from your phone holder, requires your manual interaction with the device, so pressing two buttons is an issue suddenly haha?

Imho there is more motivation for autostop disabled, rather there is for it to be enabled.
I mean: it is more work/of a hassle to restart the nav to get back to destination for people that want no autostop, than it is for users that want autostop, to manually stop the nav... Ya know what I'm getting at right haha?
