PDF format

I am looking for help on changes that happened to my routes.
I have mapped out several rotes and was able to save them and export them to my GPS and they worked fine. I saved a Tracking log as a pdf to try to print is , now all of my routes have been changed to pdf format and any new routes I make and try to save or export as a gpx are all converted to pdf.
Anybody know how to correct this?Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

@Mike-56 can you provide a little more detail about the process you are using:
- How do you create the routes?
- What do you mean by save them?
- What steps do you go through to export the routes?

Hi Doug, I just put a route into my Goldwing gps, it loaded fine and seems to be working. I plan out the route in the MyRoute-app and save it. When I was selecting it and exporting it as a gpx file the icon shows it to be a pdf file. It had me confused for a minute so I loaded the file on to the sd card and it uploaded into the gps and seems to work just fine. I am fairly new to this app but from what I have seen so far I think I am going to sign up for the lifetime Gold and Navigation.. I want to try a few more things first though.
Thanks for reaching out to help, much appreciated.

@Mike-56 I'm sure you will enjoy the app. Be safe out there.

I'm not sure about this, but to me it sounds as if the OS setting for default application to open GPX files with has been set to your PDF reader. This would cause the OS to show a PDF icon for your GPX files.You might want to check in your OS what the default handler for GPX files is.

@Mike-56 Hans Kremers is correct.
This is a file editing setting of the operating system and has nothing to do with MRA.
It means that the operating system (e.g. Windows) has not recognized the file extension GPX as a known file extension. In this case, the operating system asks you how to deal with the GPX extension. You may have told the operating system to treat it as a PDF extension. In windows you can always change this under the file type settings.
