iPhone 13 and VW transporter

Navigation instructions cut other audio channels.

1. Listening to radio and MRA Nav instruction comes - radio volume mutes and does not come back after nav instruction is over.

2. Listening to Podcasts and MRA instruction comes- Podcast sound comes back but Nav instructions are incomplete eg “In 800…. Then podcast sound comes back.

3. Listening to Apple Music - everything works fine. Music comes back after completed voice instruction.

@Mark-Hamilton-0 same issue, believe they are working on it.

If listening to radio (AM/FM/Sirius XM, etc), spoken naviagtion never completes, and about 30% of the time, nothing is spoken. It cuts out the radio, but radio does come back on (at least for me), but it's like the system is starting all over again.

If listening to any streaming service (music, podcast, etc), as you mention, I do get full spoken navigation and 'sound' source does come back on.

Looking forward to the fix!

This is a known issue and in work.

Made two road trips last weeks with my BMW Z4 which has Apple CarPlay unit installed. I reported cut-off audio nav messages before, but I used the tip to do a parallel audio streaming (Spotify) and it looks like that indeed this is a working patch to have the audio nav instructions completely instead of cut-off! Although this is not a real solution I assume, but for the time being is works
