Test CarPlay 4000 km's in 12 days
-
Driven in 12 days more than 40 passes in the Dolomites & Alps by cabrio (=car
) using routes (expert routes & "met de motor door de Alpen" ....First of all I'm very happy with the MRA app's ... when it works ... it works perfect !

But the most annoying issue is the crash after stopping (for a coffee fi, or for a short pauze), almost after every stop in those 12 days (minimum 50 stops), in 80% of the cases, I had to restart the route (and in many cases I had to restart it several times).
Other issues:
navigation arrow disappeared on CarPlay
2 or 3 navigation arrows
coloured blocks on both screens
route + nav arrow disappeared on CarPlay but still available on iPhone AND spoken navigation still working properly!
Issue on the iPhone:
When stopping without stopping the engine of the car, and when there is a speed camera in the neigborhood ("flitser" 200m on the screen), it is impossible to go to the settings menu,(...) (with the iPhone)

@MarcM Apple CarPlay and Android Auto have high priority for the developers. They are working on stability and more features as we speake.
