Map not following arrow

The map doesn't follow the arrow/pointer the map iremains on the first section of the route. Although the directions are still showing in the corners.
I am using an android phone and have checked all the settings.
Also the old navigation app us still working should I be using this? -

This can happen if you've (accidentally) moved the map yourself, even slightly. Does it go back to following if you tap the compass?

@Martin-Keen, The old app still works yes, but not for very long. HERE is pulling the plug out of the platform it was built on.
