Carplay - No route loaded

Not sure if this is a bug or not. When using carplay if I don't have a route loaded the app loads with my current location but then the screen stays showing that area with me sat at my starting position all the while I'm driving, so I don't get the "normal" sat nav benefit of seeing where I am on the road or whats around me. I assume this is a bug and not a feature?

@Corjan-Meijerink I believe he is referring to the fact that if you have no route started, and have the app showing on Car Play, the app cursor does not move (follow the path being driven), like a Google Maps, Apple Maps, Garmin, TomTom, etc does - it stays stationary.
I've also noticed this. So if I want the cursor to move so I can see/follow it, I have to switch back to google maps in the vehicle.

@Corjan-Meijerink wat ik er van begrijp is dat de TS CarPlay actief heeft staan maar geen route heeft geladen in de app. De kaart toont slechts zijn startpositie en blijft die positie tonen terwijl hij aan het rijden is. De locatiepijl beweegt niet mee met zijn positie.
What I understand is that TS has CarPlay active but has not loaded a route in the app. The map only shows his starting position and continues to show that position while driving. The location arrow does not move with his position.
