Oh yes that could be really funny.
This is the longest streetname in German:"Bischöflich-Geistlicher-Rat-Josef-Zinnbauer-Straße"

The "homograph" problem is really an IOS bug and typical for German language. But please try this as a workaround:
Einstellungen - Bedienungshilfen - Voice Over - Beschriftungsbereich (ganz unten) - deaktiviere das
Can you please check if the problem goes away?
