Waypoint symbol Icon

I know the latest beta (151) has just been loaded to Test Flight and I have been 'playing'. There seems to be an additional symbol on the waypoint marker that is new but does not appear to do anything:
The symbol remains there even if you skip[ waypoints.

It's a hint that you can tap on that field to skip a waypoint. Once you cannot skip anymore, the symbol will disappear
