Locking topics
-
Today A LOT of topics were closed within a few hours after they were published. Can that please be stopped. In participating in this forum I literally read ALL messages. But I am loosing interest in reading them if they are locked before I can react on them.
I really value good moderation, but this feels like silencing the audience.
Thank you. -
@Con-Hennekens Thanks for sharing. We definitely do not try to silence you people at all
Some topics simply point out something that has been shared numerous times before or the conversation is kinda finished. In those cases we tend to lock it but otherwise we keep it open. I do believe that most topics (especially in the Beta section) are still open.
Sorry if we gave the wrong idea, that for sure was not the intention!

@Corjan-Meijerink
Getting no reaction at all is equally frustrating. If there is no time for detailed answers, then of course I can understand that. There is a lot of work ahead of you and you are doing a really great job. A short hint would be enough such as: - Topic has already been addressed - Topic will not be implemented - Topic will be implemented in later updates - Topic needs to be investigated etc. Nevertheles, i will go on testing.Greetings

@Corjan-Meijerink, No I am sure you don't want to silence anyone
But I think it is valuable if someone suggest something that others can respond to the suggestion. Add to it, and are able to agree or disagree with it. That gives you as a developer an idea of how much a certain suggestion is wished for, and what prio it should get (if any at all).
