TomTom maps and curvy roads lead to incorrect routing
-
Hi,
since today at least, I´m getting totally weird results when using TomTom and any kind of curviness. The route seems to be like for normal bikes on dirty roads.
I did select avoid unpaved roads. Even if I go back to using no curves and low low altitude difference, it still leads me the same route. Was there a change that need to be reverted? -
@michael-4u No updates for the TomTom map as far as I know. If you share your route in this post it will be easier for others to find an answer.

Thanks Nick,
the route is here: https://www.myrouteapp.com/route/open/6138857 -
@michael-4u I used your coordinates and criteria in TomToms MyDrive and it produced an identical route with identical time and distance.

Hi Nick that´s exactly the same issue as I have. If you look at the first part of the route until Bobingen, it is all on unpaved roads that are closed for cars and motorcycles!
Thanks for checking. -
@michael-4u I think it's an issue with the TomTom map data or algorithm and not specifically with MRA. I've created the first part of the route using TomTom MyDrive itself and it takes the same route if I set it to anything other than Fastest (i.e. any of the "Thrill" hilliness and curviness settings in TomTom MyDrive.
I also tried setting it to avoid Unpaved roads and nothing changed.
