Library Structure
-
If my understanding is correct, the structure of the library is based on a folder hierarchy and it is not possible to have folders with the same name in the hierarchy. So if the highest level is 'Routes' and 'Tracklogs', you cannot have subfolders, at any level, sharing the same name, i.e. I cannot have '2026 10' to hold the routes I planned in October, under 'Routes' and '2026 10' to hold the tracklogs I followed under 'Tracklogs'. Similarly, I can cannot have 2026 10 with subfolders Routes and Tracklogs, and 2026 11 also with subfolders Routes & Tracklogs. If this is correct, in my opinion, it restricts the way information can be organized in the library.

t is not possible to have folders with the same name in the hierarchy
Do you mean like this?

What I would like to see is a hierarchy that allowed the ability to separate routes from tracklogs using a common 'date' format for the folders containing related planned routes and the associated logs. I don't want the routes and logs in the same folder, e.g

The date subfolders contain respectively routes and logs of activity. I can work around the current structure by adding a postfix 'T' to the tracklog folders.

@john-matthews-0 ...I do understand you, but It's no longer necessary, to keep routes in one folder structure and tracklogs in another folder structure.
Now there is only one structure and you can keep your routes and tracklogs together in one folder. Simply use the selector button on top to see only routes, only tracklogs, or both:
