Lock route editing
-
It’s not on the map anymore but the feature still exists

@corjan-meijerink Very well hidden, but I think I found it....

I liked it better on the map..

Hi,
I think that "Route Lock" is too difficult to find (a lot of clicks and displacements on side menu), and also that is very easy to make undesirables changes on Waypoints with tablets and desktops.
In my opinion, while editing a route perhaps Lock Status Change can be located in this area:

On "1", perhaps there is not enough space... but on "2", near pencil for name change is a good place to inser a Lock/Unlock symbol.
@Corjan, what do you think?
Regards

@Lluis-Arasanz I would agree that it would fit best "logically" in rectangle 1 as the property of it being locked is a platform property (at least from a user's perspective) and not persé a route property in the sense that the route being locked affects the content of the route so to speak.

Really I don't know how to handle it, I am only a "user".
For me, is a Route setting (I can only change by entering to the route) but if we can get a "fast" and "intuitive" way of change that setting, the position of the setting is not important.
Even, I see the subtle change @Corjan did... And its really perfect. This way opens the path to add more setting (if convenient) to route managment menu.
Regards!!!

Happy that you call me "perfect"

@Corjan-Meijerink That subtle change is wonderful. Very useful. It used to be a bit annoying to accidentally move points while reviewing a route.
You’re almost perfect... hehe. -
"almost"?

Haha I think you misunderstood my comment about "from a user perspective".
I indeed meant to say that from the perspective of a user, instead of a coder or develeoper, it makes sense to have this property somewhere near the settings in block 1, where Corjan today put the setting.

Yes, I understood your phrase.
My comment "I'm only a User" is about I'm not anyone authorized to say if one or other site is good to put the lock icon.
This change is a developer responsability (i.e. @corjan-meijerink 'The perfect')

Best regards!!!
