Hello, I'm heading out on a big trip soon and planning the route. In planning the route, it would be nice if you could drop a dot or something to mark roads you want to go to. Like some kind of flag or something so you know where it's at that you are headed to without dropping a waypoint. Like have a symbol library that you could drop markers of the places you want to see. That way you can see the big picture. Also, a great option in Google maps is, when looking for a hotel, you can just click on Hotels, and it will put the hotels on the map making it much easier to know what your options are. On another note, I love the app.

You can try to make POI's for those places

when you have a route open, click on the 3 "stripes"in the top

A new menu will open
click Point of interest

click on the middle menu (do not know what it is called in English)

then click ADD (toevoegen in Dutch) and you can add an Point Of Intrest into your route

you can add your own POI with the upload button and they will be added in the Libary (bibliotheek in Dutch) in the 3rd submenu
