    Hi,

I just tested something with a basic account (for a friend) and had just three waypoints and a very strange route between these three waypoints. (on OSm Map)

    I can´t get a route between WP 2 and 3, even if I add a new WP.
The route always goes via Cologne.

I just checked this with my normal account, and I got the same result. Very strange?

@Jörgen I think in the "Toolkit" you have the avoidance option "Highways" enabled
A similar route works correctly for me in a basic account with "Highways" disabled

Navigate "Routes as Tracks" in Offline mode with Offline Maps
No Wifi, no internet, no interruptions, works well

I've found that disabling all avoidances in Toolkit makes your life easier. Coincidently, I ran into this last night:

I couldn't figure out why I couldn't continue a straight-line route path between WP4 and WP5 on Highway 261. It seemed simple enough. In interrogation, I saw that I didn't have "Disable seasonable closures" checked:

        Screenshot (355).png

Checking "Disable seasonable closures" yielded the correct intent:

        Screenshot (356).png

Irony alert -- The seasonal closure refers to winter. In the Southwestern US, we're in the middle of summer. A hot one at that. It makes no sense that HERE needs this checked at the end of July. Apparently, another lazy map update miss. But when you least expect it, HERE strikes again. 😊

Another interesting HERE aspect of this route is related to WP1. The El Jo Motor Inn (circled below) closed down 5-years ago:

        Screenshot (357).png

The OSM base map gets it. It has since reopened (3-years ago) under a major hotel chain with a completely different name:

        Screenshot (358).png

Back to avoidances.... Again, it makes your life easier to know where you're going and control everything yourself with WP's. Using set avoidances in any navigation SW can lead to undesirable effects.

          Yes, I did.
But there are a lot of streets to take (I know this area), and not that detour via Cologne.

@Jörgen if it has to avoid "Highways" then via Colonge is the option OSM works out as the best route on MRA
your perception of what is & is not a highway will differ to OSM's
plus MRA messes about with the settings for the OSM routing calculator, so what you get can be hugely unexpected & different to what the OSM site may show
