MRA 5.1.0 (462) iOS - Sharing via WhatsApp is not possible
-
Hello dear MRA team,
Sharing a route via WhatsApp as a file 1.1 GPX format does not work, the MRA opens but the route is not displayed in MRA / the route does not arrive.
It doesn't work on iOS

What's going on?
The mistake has existed before, right?
You have to take the detour via save and upload in the route lab which is very complex.

VG@Hubert-Thoring I just tested, sending a random GPX 1.1 through Whatsapp and works fine.
GPX file, share with MRA, open MAR, see route and Navigate , Start.
No problem with that. (IOS and MRA 5.1.0 462)

Maybe it's because of iOS 26.5 that it doesn't work again ... we've had something like that before ..?

@corjan-meijerink :
@rob-verhoeff :Sorry, I have to make it clear here again. iPhone 16e with iOS 26.5
The following is different than usual, a received GPX 1.1 file in WhatsApp which I then share with MRA, then the following happens.
1.) I share with MRA
2.) MRA opens
3.) the app starts
4.) the start screen is there
Then it takes about 3-4 seconds until the route is displayed at all, I probably didn't wait for that. It gave me the impression that it didn't work
... it would be nice to see that something is being prepared there somehow
...Somehow it was different before the update or ...?
