Looking to confirm and Android auto GPS issue
-
Hello all, I have a radio on my bike that has a GPS antenna which is used for another map program (Soundstream V2 with Igo maps). A while back i was having problems where the GPS was not very accurate and would actually float off screen and give wrong directions while I was in MRA. I have a Samsung galaxy s26 which is new. I believe MRA helped me fix this issue by going in and turning off "Location Permission". I just replaced my phone and it is giving me wrong directions again, floating all over the map. Can anyone confirm if this is the correct fix for the issue I am seeing. I don't want to just start changing things. Thank you to anyone who has any info on this subject. I appreciate your help.

Yes, that is correct fix!
Turning off location permissions for Android Auto will force the usage of the phone GPS rather than the GPS in the headunit. -
Thank you.
