Map overlay for Free Drive

I was out today and switched to free drive. The map displayed is completely useless. It's impossible to see anything. Is it possible to change thd map overlay?

I totally agree with you! A less annoying map for the evening is “Dart” “Explore (standard)”. That map gives at least some contrast between the road and the surroundings.

I would also love the map themes to have more saturated colors. They seem too toned down, too delicate. I would like to see for example the yellow be almost full 255,255,0 (RGB). Same for the other colors.

I saw "free ride" on my phone however I never hit it, or used it? What is it? When I fire up my bike and I don't have a route planned, I just tap the screen and all the extras, plus minus signs etc.. go away. At this point I just kinda use the map as a crutch if you will. No route so I'm not relying on it, I just look at it for upcoming roads and I also used the speed circles. what is free ride?

@D-Griffin Just drive away as you do... Only the cursor pointing your position and nothing more.
