Voice instructions low
-
Hi, I’m using the mobile app quite a bit and find the instructions very low, inaudible if at speed on my packtalk bold, I have tried changing voice on phone and app, changing device from earphones to speakers etc. the volume is maxed on phone and PB when instructions are being given. Calls and other nav apps have to be turned down as too loud in comparison. I’ve searched this forum for work arounds but all are from 2023 saying it is under development. 3 years ago! can someone please tell me how it is fixed, I love MRA and have been using MRA for years as a planner but the mobile app sound, or lack of, is frustrating.
Thanks -
Same here, while connected via bluetooth.
Just came back from a 3 day tour.
When playing music in comfortable normal loudness the navigation prompts are nearly inaudible. When turning the navigation prompts to normal loudness, the music is crazy loud.
My Sena, my Cardo and my Retrosound Radio are not able to adjust Music and Navigation instructions to different loudness levels. Changing one volume always has effect for both, music and navigation.

Yeah, I’m not using anything else apart from answering calls if they come through so there is no conflict with music etc, volume is dedicated to MRA mobile app

I also encountered the same problem with CarPlay! If I keep the music at the right volume, MRA sounds very low, if I adjust the volume for MRA, the music is very high There are no volume adjustments on CarPlay

@Aiello-antonino if your music app is any good & like most music apps it will have its own volume level settings
music apps default internal settings tend to boost / output a higher volume than the phone volume
so when you set your phone volume to make the music confortable this results in a quiet MRAthe trick I found is to set the phone volume so MRA is audible / comfortable & then in the music app set its volume so it is lower & matches the phone volume

Sorry, I seem to have posted this in the wrong place so I’ll ask again in self help section

@Brian-McG In Spotify free, I can't find any volume settings, just an equaliser... but maybe I don't see it?!
