    Hello All

    I am traveling to Spa from UK via Hull - Rotterdam ferry lat weekend in September. I would be grateful for some suggestions on nice route there from the port. I am also planning having a ride about the week after so please again let me know where.

    Many thanks

      How much time do you have available for the route? And what time will you arrive in Rotterdam approximately?

      met een R1250RT met TFT en BMW Connected Ride App (die dus nog steeds niet voldoet!) ;
      de Garmin Zumo XT en M.R.A. in combinatie met de Carpuride W702 (voor Android op de Motor!)

        Arriving into Rotterdam around 9am. Was thinking 1 day down there but could make it 2. Then say 4 days after weekend.

          You could do a nice trip from rotterdam over the Deltawerken along the Dutch shore. To be honest, the Belgian coast is not really worth continuing there (almost no seasight at their coastal roads) and Belgium only gets interesting again when approaching the Ardennes Area. I would do something like this:

          From RP 7 to 9 it is highway about 150km, to speed your way to Namur from where it will be interesting again to do small roads. A total of 6,5 hours ride over 450km.

              Hey, if you want to ride through Belgium, there is so much beauty to see that only a Belgian motorcyclist like myself can help you.
              So avoid the major roads between points 8 and 9! There is so much beauty in between: for example, the world-famous Botanical Garden in Meise near Brussels on the A12/
              It all depends on whether you want to fly through Belgium or discover Belgium and have more time.

              • Seasonal closures affect not only seasonal road closures (mountain passes and the like) but also closures due to roadworks. This is why the route takes you through the closure even during planning, even though Here is actually aware of it.
