CarPlay and app not showing route

Went for a ride today using CarPlay with the MyRoute app. The route worked fine for the first 20 minutes, but then the display stopped updating. Voice navigation continued as normal, but when I checked my phone, the same issue was there—the screen stayed stuck after point 9. I had to tap the phone screen several times before it finally refreshed.
Setup details:
• iPhone running iOS 26.1
• MyRoute app (latest version as of December 2025)
• Connected via CarPlayHas anyone else experienced this, or know what might be causing it?

Usually this behaviour is caused by disconnections if you are using AA/CP on a cable. Many things have been done to better it, but seemingly it can still occur. Cleaning the USB port from dust often helps for a tighter fit of the connection.

Thanks for the reply. I’m using a WiFi connection from my iPhone to the Aoocci CarPlay device . Never had issues with mainstream navigation apps.
Bit annoying as I had to stop and reset everything . -
The same thing happened to me 2 days ago... same exact behavior, first I displayed the screen as yours, you could no longer see the cursor position, then after closing the app several times, the cursor came back, but the position was wrong, it was hundreds of meters behind, in all this the voice directions were correct... maybe it is the case that the developers take a look at this post, I would not want it to be a problem of the new update... I always have the phone near the CarPlay on the handlebars, I doubt there were any disconnections... and the phone signal was constant...
