OpenStreetMap cannot navigate or plan some bike paths/hiking trails suitable for mountain biking.

Is it possible to integrate the “Off-Road (Straight Lines)” option into the newly introduced sections? This would allow users to plan a section that is not supported by OpenStreetMap and then complete the rest of the route using the routing engine as usual.

Additional note: For planning cycling routes, it would be useful to be able to switch the routing engine within a section. OpenStreetMap doesn't support some routes in cycling mode, but they do in hiking mode. Hiking routes can usually be ridden with a mountain bike.

I believe MRA from the Netherlands was originally designed for motorcyclists and four-wheelers and is among the best in the world. For me, as a motorcyclist, it’s number one.
However, here in Ghent, Belgium, we have a company called RouteYou that’s much better suited to walking, cycling, mountain biking, cyclo-cross, gravel riding, etc.

Yes, I agree with you; MRA is perfect for motorcycling, and I’ve since started using it as my go-to for car navigation as well. For cycling and hiking, I currently use Locus Maps Pro—a very good piece of software. However, I would like to consolidate all my navigation needs into a single system, once that becomes possible. MRA has been evolving well in that direction, but it’s not quite there yet.
