Make a POI also to a Favorite
-
I searched, but did not found another similar suggestion, therefor this one from me:
It's possible to import own POI and organise them in Folders and Groups. Fine

But maybe you have importet a list of Bikerhotels, organised in a Group - but only one or a couple are really fine for you and would be primarily used. Then it's not easy to find them in the Group.
Yes, I know there is a search function. But it would be more convenient (and permanent), if you could edit a POI and mark it as Favorite too. May by having a checkbox in the edit form, below "Keep on map".
Because we now have also Folder/Group structure in Favs, in such a situation (you marked a POI as Fav), a question should popup: "in wich Folder/Group?".
Or maybe, simply copy into the root folder of Favs - and you can move it afterwards from there wherever you want it to have.
Would be quicker (and with same information) as creating manually from POI to FAV.

It’s not a bad idea. Up until now, I’ve been saving key points along a route as favourites. That way, if you have to cut the trip short whilst on the road – perhaps due to the weather or something similar – you can head straight back to the hotel or wherever.
I’ve deleted these favourites after the trip, otherwise the folder gets too cluttered.
Now there’s the option of subfolders, and you could assign them to a planned trip.
So, temporarily assigning favourites and/or POIs to a trip, or something like that, would certainly be handy.
I need to give it some more thought.
