    Greetings,

Just watching the video and getting up to speed with the new app for testing.

One quick feedback point: for overnight reviews, can you consider additional parking category examples for motorcycles such as:

    • off street (out of sight)
    • secure
    • dedicated motorcycle parking
    • bookable
    • anchors (or other security)

    Etc.

I see some options are already available but these are rare in the UK (indoor/garage). With theft rampant here certainly the first thing I look for is secure off street (out of sight) parking.

    Thanks.

There is already Indoor parking and lockable garage. Although I think those are quite comparable, too many categories will only lead to them being not used and having too much overlap. That indoor parking is also locked and secure seems logical, so I would take lockable away and add Bike specific parking, and probably Trailer parking also.

I am just an enthusiastic MRA user, and hope you will be one too!

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebar to the saddle.

It could be great to have a possibility to enter some descriptions to the stays without making them public, just for my own use in the future. Is there such possibility?

          @MotoCon

I agree too many categories becomes cumbersome. The typical ones we think of are:

          Off street
          Out of sight
          Secure

It been pretty rare to have indoor parking at many smaller venues. A lot of places say ‘free parking’ but what they mean is public parking on the street. Others say ‘off street’ but it’s still visible from the road.

Secure encompasses garages, gated areas etc.

Just my 2p. But I don’t book anywhere that doesn’t have at least one of the above.

Indoor catches all three of them 😉

Semantically I think they are different from ‘indoor’. For people leaving reviews ‘safe’ and ‘indoors’ may not seem equivalent. I’ll leave it with the developers to contemplate the usefulness of these categories but for our riding groups bike parking security is paramount.

If they have only one category then I would suggest ‘secure motorcycle parking’. It’s clear and unambiguous.

I see what you mean now. I thought that entering the details for an overnight stay address was a step before the submit button. Apparently, that's not the case. My apologies. I have no idea whether the team would be willing to allow users to fill in the details of a specific address first and only click the publish button afterwards.
